"I'd choose self-belief because, in this ever-changing world, it's easy for all of us to be doubted by others, which often makes us doubt ourselves. Being able to trust and believe in ourselves and our abilities is such an essential skill to have; it's so transformative!
Once you believe in yourself, who you are as a person, and the things that you're trying to achieve, then anything is possible. I think self-belief is more than just confidence. It really is the foundation for being able to create and pursue dreams whilst overcoming obstacles along the way.
Having self-belief enables you to really shape your own future and realise that anything is possible."
What one skill would you teach all women and why?
"When I'm not working on Women Who Can, I support businesses with their marketing with my husband; we create and manage websites, branding, social media, and everything else in between.
I take work-life balance seriously, so when I'm taking a break, I absolutely love to travel. I visit different cities in the UK and countries abroad with family and friends, and sometimes even solo. I also enjoy going to carnivals, dancing, and really embracing my Caribbean culture - it's actually how my husband and I met!
But ultimately, one of my favourite things to do is spend time with family and friends, laughing and making new memories."
What do you do outside of Women Who Can?
"Women Who Can is such an important cause in today's world. Like lots of young women, I've faced different challenges over the years, and there were times when I felt alone and found it difficult to find people going through similar experiences that I could connect with.
I believe that 'Women Who Can' fills that gap and more. We represent a supportive environment where women can learn, grow and connect. We champion women to live their lives to the fullest, regardless of their past."
What does Women Who Can, mean to you?
